Air-cooled chiller is mainly composed of four parts: compressor, condenser, thermal expansion valve and evaporator. It adopts compression refrigeration system, which utilizes the principle of gas-liquid inter-conversion of refrigerant to absorb and release heat to achieve the effect of refrigeration.
After the chiller is turned on, the compressor starts to work. Refrigerant under the action of the compressor into a high temperature and high pressure gas, into the condenser and air heat exchange occurs, from gas to liquid, while the heat is taken away by the air. From the condenser out of the liquid refrigerant through the drying filter, drying, filtering impurities to reach the expansion valve. High-pressure liquid refrigerant is throttled and depressurized through the thermal expansion valve, and the temperature is lowered. The low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant passes through the evaporator to exchange heat with the chilled water, cooling the chilled water to the set temperature. The low-temperature gas refrigerant comes out of the evaporator and returns to the compressor. This is a complete cycle process.
