These steel-deck platform trucks have a long, narrow deck with tall handles at the front and back. Also known as U-boat platform trucks, they are used for moving tall stacks of packaged goods and other boxed items. The trucks have two rigid casters at the center of the deck and four swivel casters at the corners of the deck that allow the trucks to pivot 360° when maneuvering in tight spaces such as aisles in warehouses, supermarkets, retail stores, and stock rooms. The trucks also have low decks that reduce the distance heavy or bulky materials must be lifted when loading and unloading them.
