Startup procedure

1. Open the emergency stop switch till the green indicator light on the panel is on, and wait till the green indicator light on the water tank displays normally.

2. Check if the water flows through the laser tube, and then open the laser power switch.

3. Open Xinhuayue laser cutting and engraving system.

4. Open the graph to be cut, edit the graph, set the parameters and then load data.

5. Check if the three sets of reflection mirrors and focus mirrors are dirty; if yes, clean them with alcohol.

6. Check if the lube oil has been added onto the guideway; if the guideway is dirty, add the lube oil.

7. The focus must be aligned well; if not, the cutter possibly can’t cut it through, or can cut it through to form a taper.

8. Open the exhausting fan and blow air, and then adjust it to a proper status.

9. Press the START key to cut.

Safety Precautions

1. The operator must know well about the operation knowledge of the machine, and must be trained for the job.

2. When the machine is running, be sure to keep your head, hands, etc. away from the optical system for fear of scald by laser.

3. The casing must be grounded firmly.

4. If the operator must leave for a long time or at night, be sure to power off for the sake of safety.

5. When the machine is running, the laser tube must be cooled by water.

6. The high-voltage output terminal of the laser power supply must not be an open circuit; after the power supply is used, be sure to prevent from being injured by the residual voltage on the output terminal.
