Shipping Policy

  1. Your credit card will not be charged until order is shipped. We will send you a confirmation email that will have the UPS or US Postal Service tracking number.
  2. Orders placed before 3PM PST Monday - Friday will be shipped same day. If an item has to be backordered we will notify you.
  3. We strive to hold back orders to a minimum. But we will ship your backordered items as soon as we can, there will be no freight charges on back order.
  4. All orders are shipped via UPS or USPS and are bound by their schedule. We require a street address for all shipments; UPS can not ship to a PO Box. However, USPS can ship to a PO Box, please call for details.
  5. Delivery time varies depending on your location.
  6. If you have any special shipping requirements please call customer service during business hours or email us at info@rpmhardware.com.
  7. Any order placed over the weekend will be processed the next business day.
  8. We will never provide any information about you or your credit card number to third parties.
  9. California State residents will be charged sales tax of 8.25%, unless proof of tax exemption is provided.
  10. Shipping is quoted per order; your actual shipping cost will be included on your checkout page.

Return Policy

  1. An RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number must be obtained before any product can be returned for any reason, please call customer service for number.
  2. Please check your order a soon as possible, all shortages must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
  3. You have 14 days to return an item. All returned items must be in their original boxes and in unused re-saleable condition. A restocking charge of 20% will be applied. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  4. The customer shall pay all freight on returns, unless there is a defect in product or an error on our part. If an item is damaged or has a defect we will ship another at our own expense upon return of the item.
  5. Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing credit card account only after receipt of returned items.
  6. No returns or credit on any left over hardware due to over ordering or for any other reason on quoted projects.

Other Policy

  1. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and finishes of the products that appear on our site. However, the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor.
  2. A manufacturers color and finish will not always match the color and finish of another manufacturer.
  3. When doing commercial installations always check the local fire laws and building codes before ordering.
  4. All products sold are new, and covered by the standard mechanical and finish warranties offered by RPM Hardware.
  5. In the event that an item is listed with an incorrect price or with any incorrect information, we reserve the right upon notification to cancel the order.
  6. Prices and terms are subject to change without notice.
  7. Not all items are online; if you can't find what you need, please contact us. Check back often to see new updates to our site.
  8. We use Starfield SSL as our Security Certificate Provider. You can find details about our Security Certificate by following this link. We utilize a secure connection at any time in which you are viewing your Checkout Settings information, logging on to use the website's advanced features, or when you are checking out from the shopping cart.

We are aware that some customers will not see the "Security Padlock" icon when checking out in the shopping cart. This is due to a browser problem and the way "framed" pages are displayed, such as when you Browse Products by Category. We assure you that your checkout is secure in every form while in a framed display even if you do not see the security lock. To confirm this, click on the side of the page containing the checkout screen. Now "right-click" the page and select the Properties option. The properties of the page will display the security certificate.
